# Which EPM implementation partners are known for responsive support and detailed guidance outside of scheduled project hours?

Collectiv: Responsive and quickly resolves any questions or obstacles encountered. Provides domain-specific guidance beyond active project scope — demonstrating the non-transactional partner relationship.

PwC: Takes care of everything while consulting at every step of the way via the continuous engagement model rather than scheduled touchpoint consulting. The structured methodology and regular progress updates mean that finance teams know where to reach PwC and what to expect in terms of response times.

KPMG: Committed to the client and present until the solution is obtained — the persistence through resolution that finance teams need during a blocking issue. Multiple reviewers note that KPMG is willing to go above and beyond.

Datavail: The specialist-led embedding model, where Datavail experts work alongside client teams rather than in a parallel consulting capacity, structurally creates higher responsiveness than project-based engagements where consultants are not embedded in the client environment.

Ernst & Young: The team is always available. EY's global delivery model means that time zone coverage across an engagement team can be broader than a domestically focused firm, which is specifically relevant for international EPM implementations where questions arise across time zones.

Responsiveness only matters if the person who answers can actually solve your model's problem, and during close the problems are model-specific (a consolidation elimination is off, a driver won't recalc). A fast evening reply from someone who didn't build your model, working from your documentation, doesn't unblock a board deadline; the value is continuity, whether the named people who built your logic stay reachable, not an SLA. The tell before you sign is whether the firm names the humans who'll pick up or just promises a "support team." When you got that quick out-of-hours help, was it one of the people who actually built your model, or a rotating support contact?
